We are a family run company soon to be entering our 5th year specialising in the servicing and repair of MG Rover vehicles from the past to the most recent present. We will also carry out upgrades and restorations. If you have an older car from the British Leyland days we are happy to take care of that too. We can be found as part of an actively growing and vibrant complex in farmyard buildings previously owned by a local brewery. Situated deep in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside we are only 10 minutes from Burton on Trent and 6 minutes from the A38. Our workshop, a former cart shed, has been purposely re-modelled to a high specification and our office/reception, a former hen house complete with roosting loft, is now a modern, efficient and welcoming environment. | It may not happen again but on the day this photo was taken we had cars representing six decades of motoring from Austin to MG Rover!! From the forefront backwards: 1957 Austin A35 1965 Riley Elf Mk II 1974 Austin Allegro 1500 Super Deluxe 1987 Austin Montego 1.6 HL 1994 Rover 220 GSi 2003 MG ZT-T 260 SE |
With state-of-the-art equipment including: - Testbook 4 diagnostics - MG Rover specialist tools - Air conditioning servicing equipment to keep your car in tip-top cool condition - Hydragas and Hydrolastic suspension service equipment ... and much more besides our workshop can take care of most of your motoring needs ... ... and while your car is being looked after you can take the weight off your feet and read a magazine or browse through some motoring memorabilia of bygone days while enjoying a refreshing cup of tea or coffee in our comfortable and relaxing reception office.

Nick Bonthrone has been passionate about all things MG Rover since serving his apprenticeship, aged 18, at an MG Rover Dealership in Liverpool. His love of all things Austin started before that when he acquired his first car, a mini, at the age of 15! Your car will be in safe hands with him as there is very little, if at all, he won't know about it! Nick will be known to many as he has just completed a number of very happy years at Tempest Ford, formerly Friarsgate Lichfield. There he was known as 'Austin', a nickname which will no doubt remain! first car was a Morris 1100, white with a red vinyl interior. Now there's a blast from the past!Nick will be ably assisted by his wife, Jean, who claims to know nothing about cars but is perfectly equipped to run the business after too many years than she cares to remember project managing medical research in the NHS.
